Didcot Railway Centre will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of 5322, a steam engine that was sent to France in 1917 on 19 & 20 August 2017. The Great War Society will recreate a casualty clearing station and infantry camp, and hold firepower demonstrations around the Didcot Railway Centre. There will be a World War I Trail to follow and displays telling the story of railways in the war, 5322 and ambulance trains. Admission includes all normal attractions and unlimited train rides. Catering and Picnic area will be available.
